Ona Osezua Ekhomu is the Executive Director and Founder of Premium Legacy Healthcare, a behavioral health organization committed to providing compassionate, structured, and recovery-focused care for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. With a background that spans behavioral healthcare, business leadership, security operations, and community development, Ona brings a unique blend of executive vision, operational expertise, and lived understanding to the field of recovery services. The inspiration behind Premium Legacy Healthcare was deeply personal. After witnessing the challenges a close family member experienced while navigating the behavioral health system, Ona became passionate about creating a program centered on dignity, accountability, hope, and genuine human connection. That experience helped shape the organization’s mission to provide not only clinical services, but also mentorship, structure, life-skills support, and pathways toward long-term stability and independence. Under his leadership, Premium Legacy Healthcare has developed programs focused on Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP), outpatient behavioral health treatment, substance use recovery support, anger management, DUI education, independent living development, and community reintegration services. The organization emphasizes a whole-person approach that combines clinical care with practical support systems designed to help clients rebuild confidence, purpose, and healthy lifestyles. Ona also brings years of experience from corporate America and executive business operations, where he developed strengths in leadership, strategic growth, operations management, and team development. His ability to bridge business discipline with compassionate care has helped position Premium Legacy Healthcare as a growing provider dedicated to quality services, accountability, and meaningful outcomes for the communities it serves. In addition, Ona proudly served in the United States military, an experience that helped shape his values of discipline, resilience, service, and leadership. Those principles continue to influence his commitment to building programs that empower individuals to overcome adversity and create lasting change in their lives. Today, Ona remains actively involved in organizational development, program oversight, community partnerships, and advocacy efforts aimed at improving access to behavioral healthcare and recovery resources throughout Arizona.
